His extensive experience - which includes providing Design Assist Services and the Integrated Project Delivery model - is perfectly suited to what we do, while his quick-witted humour aligns nicely with our team’s workplace culture. The addition of Kevin to the Kinsol team was a seamless transition in every way.

Combining a high-level of conscientiousness with an inquisitive nature, Sean makes every effort to deliver Kinsol projects effectively and efficiently. Since joining Kinsol he has strengthened our systems & processes, and brought a deeper level of analysis to our work. Heather is an accomplished, forward-thinking and creative problem-solver with an extensive portfolio of success spearheading new projects and in all aspects of business optimization. She brings over 20 years of operations and project management experience, coupled with award-winning commercial interior design work. Matt's commitment to precision makes him a welcome addition to the Kinsol team. Second only to Sean, his love for excel runs so deep that it's only a matter of time before we find them both in a duel, battling for VLOOKUP supremacy.
Carley Sandwith-Craig
Project Coordinator & Office Administrator
Carley has a mastery of organization like nobody we have ever met, and you can be certain when you ask her to do something that it will be done expertly and efficiently - but chances are, she anticipated the need and has already done it. With her signature combination of steadfast reliability and hilarious wit, Carley has proven herself to be an indispensable member of the Kinsol team. Carley is currently on maternity leave but we eagerly anticipate her return in mid 2027.
Murray Hatfield
Playground Project Coordinator & Shop Foreman
After an exciting career touring the world as an entertainer, Murray eventually settled into an entirely new life here with Kinsol, leaning on his life-long love of carpentry to convince us to hire him. As it turns out, it was a good choice on our part, as Murray has continued to prove his skills not only in carpentry, but in an organizational capacity as well. The skillset he built during his decades of self-employment translate perfectly into the roles of foreman and project coordinator here at Kinsol and frankly, we just don’t know what we’d do without him.
Jaime Blacklock
Natural Playground Specialist, Marketing & Media Coordinator
As our KinsolPlay Playground Specialist, Jaime helps our clients understand the benefits of our playground systems and the skills that children who use them can gain. Her great sense of humour and love of play, coupled with her decades of customer care experience ensures that our playground clients are well looked after. Sharon holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Adelaide University as well as additional accounting designations from Australia. Having worked across Australia, China, and Canada, she brings a global perspective and practical approach to the financial operations at Kinsol. Sharon is a lover of jokes (her infectious laughter often being more successful than the joke itself), dogs and snacks - and she never lets any of us go hungry either (dogs or humans). Our books are better balanced and our office more jovial with Sharon in the mix.
Amanda Noonan
Accounting Clerk
Amanda has nine years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting plus a unique foundation in visual arts that both intersects and enhances her precision-based technical skill set, combining a keen eye for detail with a knack for innovative problem-solving. She is best described as “cool as a cucumber” as she manages the meticulous and never-ending tasks of the Kinsol accounting with only the occasional audible sigh to indicate that something particularly challenging has crossed her path. Her dedication to maintaining the financial integrity of our company and the unique and level-headed way in which she does so, make Amanda a truly valued member of the team.
Jeff Morberg
Superintendent
Though he is a steam-fitter by trade, Jeff adapted swiftly and seamlessly into the realm of mass timber when he joined the Kinsol crew, and has continued to demonstrate his aptitude for not only the trade but for leadership as well. In 2023, he completed the inaugural BCIT Associates Certificate in Mass Timber Construction amongst a group of leading-edge industry colleagues, expanding upon his knowledge and value to the team. Above all, Jeff is a kind and considerate human with a great sense of humour, and a very adorable mini-Dachshund named Fitz who probably deserves his own spot on this page.
Steve Armstrong
Superintendent
Steve is a Red Seal Carpenter who spent most of his career working in the industrial concrete sector. Working for another company on one of Kinsol’s jobsites, Steve was dazzled by the mass timber installation and decided to explore it as a new career path. Fast forward to present day and Steve has proven himself to be an effective superintendent for the Kinsol team, having overseen the performance of some very challenging projects such as the Freedom Mobile Arch (PNE) and Cabot Cliffs in the throes of a Nova Scotian winter. His emphasis on safety and efficiency while maintaining an approachable and witty demeanor has earned him the respect of (almost) everyone he’s worked with, both here at Kinsol and with our larger project teams.
Chris Bertin
Playground Supervisor, CPSI Certified
Chris is an experienced builder with years of construction experience, and a unique expertise in the creation of hand-made musical instruments. An adventure seeker himself, Chris’ whole approach to play fits perfectly with the vision of our playground team. His kind-hearted and cooperative nature makes him a pleasure to work with, both as a team member and for our clients. As a CPSI certified builder, Chris ensures that all finished construction meets the CSA guidelines.
